February in Big Bear

All the Philp's headed upto Big Bear for some snowboarding and catching up. We spent the first couple of days snowboarding while Grandma watched the little ones. It was great to be back on the mountain and as it was mid-week, we had the place to ourselves. But the best part was yet to come - it snowed!! It was the first time Cliona had ever seen snow - Avery saw it last year but this time she got to play in it a little and sled. The sledding was fabulous - we found the perfect hill near the house and everyone had a go - even Clio got to go with her dad. That evening it snowed some more so the next day we bundled up again and hit the big hill at the local school. It was steep and fast and so much fun. Everyone had a go before it was time to head back and pack up. It was wonderful to see everyone again and watch Cliona and Avery together.
