Clio's maiden voyage Aug 25th

We brought the porta-boat up to Big Bear, got Clio a life jacket and went for a spin on the lake. She was a little nervous when Stephen went full speed, which to be fair is still quite slowly. But once we slowed down to a mere bob she enjoyed leaning over the side looking for fish or crocodiles. Those pesky crocodiles are everywhere you know. They are in the lake and they follow us all over the place when we drive. They are usually behind us though so once we 'go faster' we can give them the slip.

But back to the lake - Clio's hat managed to fly off into the water and we had great fun trying to get it back. After running over it a couple of times, we got it with a paddle.
