Dana and her Dad - thanks for babysitting D.

Stephen and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary on Aug 23rd.

Anything that Cliona can get her hands on is going into her mouth.

We think Cliona has her Grandpa's smile and from this picture it looks like she might have his hairline too!

Grandpa arrived on Aug 22nd and met Cliona.

I got scuba certified and completed my dives here at Redondo Beach pier. We saw an octupus on our very first dive.

The campsite was right next to the beach so Stephen got a bit of surfing in.

She was more interested in her toys than anything else.

Some friends went camping up past Malibu and we headed up for the day - Cliona and her bouncer fit right in.

Clio and Stephen

New headscarf - hard to keep on but real cute.

Today Cliona rolled over onto her back

Cliona rolled over today - used her right hand to push off and got on her left side really easily. It was getting the rest of her little body to follow suit that proved the hardest.

She was happy enough to be on her side for a while but now she's ready to keep going.

A little fustration gave her the momentum she needed to get the rest of her body over.

Whew - made it!

Not quite sure what just happened

Now she can see the world again.

Here's Cliona in a dress I wore as a baby.

Still pretty as a picture :)

Still happiest in the morning.

Clio will nap anywhere.

On Sat night, July 30th, Cliona spent her first night in her 'big girl' crib in her own room. We have a baby monitor to hear her when she wakes up and it is so sensitive that I think I woke up faster than if she was in the small cot beside us. I don't think she has noticed the change - it hasn't effected her sleep and she 's still happy to babble for a while in the morning.
