She's nearly too big for her bouncer - hard to believe she started out too small for it 7 months ago...

Cliona showing us how she drinks her bottle at daycare.

It's all about the toes this month - Cliona loves to touch them when she's sitting or suck them when she's getting her nappy changed. Here she is having a nice morning stretch - getting ready to grab those toes.....

No Tears

Orla picked Cliona up from daycare on Tuesday and she. . .

WASN'T CRYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woohoo a breakthrough!

Now if she could just get over her eating issues. She is extremely fussy with the bottle and has to be coerced to eat solid foods. Except for bananas and yogurt. She loves bananas and thinks vanilla yogurt is the best thing created on this little planet for her to enjoy. You can get her to eat some solids if you spend a lot of time with her and do a lot of entertaining. Essentially I sing, dance, and bounce around like a clown to get her to smile and then cram the spoon in. She will then quickly stick her thumb in her mouth and look at me like I just played a terrible practical joke on her. Unfortunately she is catching on to this smiling trick and will hold her smile back as long as she can. So my theatrics have to get crazier and crazier to get her to crack up. I'm afraid I might run out of tricks. If only there were a good clown in the neighborhood.
