Brian is 1

Brian turned one and started to talk. He says 'Mama', 'Dada', 'Oh-uh', 'Truck' and 'Rhonda'.
He loves the swing and being pushed around in his little car. He can crawl at lightening speed and pull himself up on anything but still is reluctant to take any unaided steps.
He loves sucking on his comfort toys and reading pop-up books. He had the best birthday EVER!
All his American Aunts, Uncles and cousins came to celebrate with him. Even Grandma flew in to celebrate. We had a great weekend - we started off at the Patrick's Day parade followed by a picnic in the park. We played on the new rope swing in the front garden and Cliona took her car onto the street and zoomed around with Avery and Kat. The adults played ring-toss while the kids napped and we had a great big bottle cake (Clio's idea) for the birthday boy. He sure loves his bottle.
The girls all helped to decorate it and it turned out lovely - tasted pretty good too :)
There was presents to open and even more celebrating the following day on Brian's 'real' birthday. More cake - he had not forgotten how tasty it was and tucked right in second time around.
