Dana and Dave are Mr & Mrs. They had a beautiful wedding at Holland Ranch near Pismo Beach. We had a great weekend celebrating with all the Philps and Schmits. It was great to meet up with all the family and Dana and Dave never looked happier. Cliona, Avery and Kat had a wonderful time as flower girls - they looked just precious!

Brian can now push himself up onto all fours so it ready to start crawling. He still manages to roll himself around quite well and is happiest gnawing on a toy. He wiggles his head when tickled or excited and loves his bath, kicks and splashes, has a great 'ole time. I read to him every morning and today was the first time he looked at the pictures and listened to the story without trying to eat the book.

Cliona is loving Elementary school. Her coloring has come on in leaps and bounds and she had a reading buddy from the 5th grade that visits every Friday to help her read. She loves her dance and Tae Kwon Do class. 'Mr Anton' has them kicking and punching and doing knuckle push-ups.

She really likes the structure and is going to start working on her yellow belt next week. She also really enjoys her art class and I think it's helping her writing and coloring a lot. Luckily all these activities take place in the after school program so we get to maximise family time in the evening. Unfortunately the soccer has not been quite so popular. Despite being on a team with all her pre-school buddies, Cliona does not like getting into the thick of it and getting her feet on the ball. Her last game is this Sat so we'll be hanging up the cleats and shin guards for a while.

Halloween was great fun this year. We had our annual Pumpkin carving party and this year we dressed up as a Native American tribe with Princess Pocahontas as our fearless leader. Even Brian got in on the fun. We missed Mam and Dad but there'll always be next year.
