We got Clio a little pool to splash and cool off in. Stephen got her a Clio-sized deck chair and she loves sitting in her chair splashing her feet, or standing in the pool and using it as a table. She is also very fond of practicing drinking 'like a big girl' from her cups. The perfect place to practice, in my opinion :)

4th of July in Michigan

We headed upto Horton Bay for the 4th of July. The Philps were having a family reunion and so a lot of us stayed in the Horton Creek inn bed and breakfast - it was gorgeous and the breakfasts were amazing - thanks Jeannie! There was lots of activites planned and lots of relatives to catch up with or meet for the first time and we all had a ball. Cliona and Avery had a great time with their 'first cousins once removed' Kim, Lauren and Meagan. The B&B had a butterfly garden and a pool - both were big hits. Stephen and I got to go golfing and play poker with the Philps and Clio got to sample some fabulous BBQ and potato salad. It was great to see everyone again and even though we did have a lot of trouble getting back to LA - we are determined to head 'up north' again next year.
