Clio's new haircut

Poor little Clio was well overdue for a haircut and we were heading upto Big Bear for the weekend so I decided to try my hand at hairdressing. Just her fringe (bangs), nothing too complicated. I waited for a moment when Clio was distracted and contained (in her high chair having lunch), grabbed the kitchen scissors (which have since disappeared), and in a quick 'snip, snip, snip' it was all over. Here are some photos of the her new 'do'.

What's Cliona upto these days?

Running around the couch as fast as possible with Mammy or Daddy in hot pursuit. Anytime, day or night is running time. She also likes to play with her leap-pad learning stories (but is only interested in the animal story) and likes playing puzzles or reading with us. She loves the swings and slides at the park and her new thing is to dangle from the monkey bars and drop into Stephen's arms - she really likes that.

Dancing with Elmo. He is by far her favourite Sesame Street character. She loves playing 'Elmo's World' games on the computer. Seems like he is everywhere - on her diaper, on her bib, spoon and fork, we even have Elmo bubble bath. And if we put on Sesame Street she likes me to fast forward to Elmo's World. It's all about Elmo these days.

Talking on the phone. Clio loves pretending to have phone conversations. She'll start talking and then move into another room, then she'll laugh as if someone told her a joke or something. It's hilarious to watch.

Girls weekend Jan 27th

Dana, Trina, Marti, Fanny and I headed up to Big Bear for some snowboarding and r&r. The weather was lovely and warm during the day and the snow was great - no icy spots. It was fun hanging out and catching up with the girls - I even got to sleep in until 9 on Sunday.
