Christmas at the cabin 2006

Karen, Bill, Dana, Gk, Kerry, Avery, Stephen, Cliona and I spent Christmas up in Big Bear in our cabin. It was wonderful to have a snowy, chilly Christmas in the middle of SoCal and we really enjoyed having everyone there to celebrate. We got upto our usual antics - singing carols, playing cards and snowboarding but we also got to bring the girls sledding and build a snowman. Clio and Avery loved the snow and really enjoyed the sledding.

More of Christmas morning

True to form, Cliona and Avery got nearly as much enjoyment from the packaging as they did the toys.

Christmas Eve storytime.

The girls were funny with their presents - Clio loved Avery's stroller while Avery took a shine to Clio's Elmo but they still played and shared together really well - we were delighted!

Stephen and Avery had a great time playing together. She is such a little sweetheart.

Happy Parish Philps

The bean bag was a great sucess again.

Did we mention Cliona knows 'cheese' now?

Let it snow, let it snow ....

Clio and Avery loved sledding - the snow really was the icing on the holiday.

Christmas wouldn't be complete without building a snowman in the garden!

Grandma and Grandpa Bill looked after the girls while we all went snowboarding at Snow Summit.

Orla's second season on a snowboard, getting the hang of carving.
